Does she like me? and what shud i do?

Let’s call the girl that I like "Cinderella." My friend told me they think she was eyeing me in class. He said that every time I looked over to grab my water bottle, he saw her looking at me—or maybe at one of the other two guys in that general direction. However, I’m pretty sure she was looking at me because of our history.

The first time I ever talked to her face-to-face was after school. She and two of her friends were heading out while I was making my way to a club. Her two friends, who I had class with, "dabbed me up" and said, "I love you, [My Name]," and Cinderella did the same. Like any 14-year-old boy would do, I added the one girl I could find on Snapchat and asked for the others' snaps; she gave me Cinderella’s. Since this was toward the end of the school year, I texted her for a bit. She would keep the conversation going, text first, send snaps, and ask for streaks. During this time, I told the three of them how I was being ghosted by another girl I was talking to. They told me to give up because she didn’t like me, and when I was persistent, Cinderella told me, "You can't make a girl like you."

Over the summer, she would text me first and send snaps of herself in addition to streaks. We became "BFFs" on Snapchat in October and "Super BFFs" by April. During this school year, we had lunch and another class together. At lunch, I would sit in a different area from where she sat with friends I didn’t know. She would come over with the three friends I did know, sit next to me, and get really close before leaving. As time went on, she stopped coming over, so I would go see her. Even then, when we sat together, she would get close to me, often with her leg brushing up against mine.

Eventually, things changed. She started to seem more irritated with me, but she would still poke me in the back in class and play a cute game where we put our hands over each other's. She would also hug or stroke her friend’s arm while making direct eye contact with me. I’ve heard that when people look at someone they like while stroking something, it’s a form of self-soothing or an unconscious expression of desire. One day, her best friend mentioned that they talked on the phone for hours about "nothing and everything, [My Name]." She also got me a plushie for my birthday and another for Christmas. She would even text me for advice, like asking what she should get her best friend for her birthday or what color she should paint her toes. When I suggested pink, she said”P**** pink?”; she didn’t end up getting them done, but it was funny.

From mid-November onward, her messaging decreased. By April, she never messaged me first unless it was to ask about a test grade. A month later, I stopped messaging her first to see what would happen. I didn’t get a text all summer, except for one where she joked that her best friend was "going to have my babies"—even though I’ve barely texted her best friend compared to her. The next time she reached out was to check my schedule. We had a class together, but it was uneventful.

I had a feeling she might be looking at me when I wasn’t looking; I saw her look my way and quickly glance away a handful of times. I didn't give it much thought and figured I was being delusional until this year. Now, we face each other in different groups. I am not in the immediate view of the board and Cinderella could easily look elsewhere, but I’ve caught her red-handed looking at me a few times before she quickly looked away. This was all brought to my attention by what my friend said above.
