what if he’s still asking about me

just found out recently my ex has been asking about me to a mutual friend. asking how i’m doing and what not, genuinely curious and concerned and trying to get information out of her. is this a good thing? i feel like it is. or am i just fucking delusional? because at this point that could be possible too
