macbook or ipad for medtech?

for context, i don't have any laptop pa ever since shs haha and yes, i survived research na phone lang gamit (not reco pero kaya hahaha). can't afford both so i need to pick only one that i think i would use more. I'm not sanay pa sa pag ta-type sa laptop like mabagal pa so it would take quite a while before me masanay sa mac. I'm planning to mainly use it for studying like notes, transes, video lessons, meetings, etc. ever since jhs, sanay na talaga me na paper and pen lang gamit for studying. 'di ko keri na phone lang or laptop gamit without taking any notes kasi hindi siya naaabsorb ng utak ko. if I'm gonna buy a laptop, I'd prefer a lighter one since mag c-commute lang din ako papunta sa univ and medj matagal din byahe (about 1-2hrs).

please send help hahsha mostly kasi ipad talaga 'yong nakikita ko na gamit nila so sa ipad tlga ako nag le-lean more kesa sa laptop. what do u guys think?
