Theory about Quinn's death

Okay, this is just a theory I wanted to put out there before new episodes drop. I don’t think Quinn actually died in the bus crash, even if they didn't cause it.

Here’s why:

1. The other spirits all seem tied to the same location and memory, but Quinn’s scar doesn’t line up the same way. When we see their scar (the place where they relive their worst memory), their body isn’t shown on the bus like the others.

2. The show keeps emphasizing that the way ghosts are seen is connected to where and how they died. Maddie and Simon only see ghosts at certain locations, and there’s still an unexplained death tied to the school bathroom.

3. What if the bus crash happened on picture day, and Quinn wasn’t there? It was said in one of the new episodes that they often skipped picture days because of pressure around presentation and clothing from their mom, due to their identity. If they weren't at school that day, everyone might’ve assumed they were on the bus anyway.

That would explain why Quinn is grouped with the bus victims socially, but not visually or symbolically in the scar scenes. If Quinn wasn’t on the bus, their death may have happened elsewhere in the school, which could explain why their scar is different and why the bathroom death hasn’t been fully explained yet. What I think could've happened was that Quinn experienced survivor's guilt and commited in the school's bathroom due to this, given the fact that they seemed too upset to talk to the looping bus crash kids.
