In need of gems that experienced traders have. I don't trust my friend on this

I am fairly new to trading, i have covered some grounds from what information i could gather. YouTube videos, Ai, stuff like that. My friend (who's a somewhat experienced trader) asked me to jump straight in and i will eventually learn but i don't have enough funds that i waste them on my learning process. I wanna learn trading so that i can actually earn enough from it, i also getting a degree but in a different field, this would be a good way to get an extra income for me. What i find the most difficult is the amount of information, i see courses but then read reviews of it being a scam, or see videos which explain basic concepts (i have already covered them), and basically they don't guide you enough. So i am here just to get as much information as anyone is willing to give, or YouTube videos which you found to be the most educating. Any and all help is appreciated so please give me anything you're able to give.
