Can I mention other products if it is to confirm compatibility?

I am reviewing some batteries for Canon SLRs. A lot of non-canon batteries aren't recognized by my camera but these are, so I want to state that my Canon model X recognizes them.

Is this allowed? I've read that if you mention any other brand or product your review score takes a hit or could get rejected. But I feel like this is exactly the type of thing a purchaser should know.

Also, the product page itself mentions these cameras....
