When people criticize someone for pronouncing "Latino" correctly.

Bit Annoyed

I've seen it before where someone who is speaking English pronounces "Latino" correctly with a Latin accent (La-teen-o) and people say, "Why do they have to exaggerate how they pronounce Latino?"

I just think, "They're pronouncing it correctly. If they can pronounce correctly, why not?" I think people want Latinos to pronounce with a more American accent when they are speaking English, but that is strange to me.
