Has anyone received unemployment benefits in France while looking for a postdoc?

I am not sure if it a right place to post this, I will be submitting my PhD soon and at the same time my talent passport visa is going to expire. I have not received any positive response in my postdoc application, it is very likely that I will be unemployed for a while after my PhD. I am looking to get my visa extended on the basis of unemployment benefits, has anyone received them? How did it work out in the end?
