Tsh still going up with dose change

Hello!

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism a few years ago and my TSH is still not stable. Fault of my own because i have missed my lab appointments in the past.

I am up to 88mcg of synthroid, I’ve been taking that dosage for 4 months. in those 4 months my TSH went from 10 to 16. Is this a normal thing if my dose is incorrect?

I slowly increase my dose because when I do change it ruins my period and gives me heart palpitations.

Any opinions welcome just please be kind!

Did anyone notice a difference when switching from synthroid to another brand(like tirosint)?
