HDFC Regular Savings Account ?

I am looking to open a new HDFC Regular Savings Bank Account ?

What is the minimum balance required to be maintained for a new "HDFC Regular Savings Account" in METRO city ?

Is it 25,000 Rs or 10,000 Rs ?

I visited the nearest HDFC branch ; staff said 25,000 Rs but hdfc bank website shows it is 10,000 Rs.

This is very confusing.

Is there anyone opened Savings Account in HDFC Bank in last 3/4 months ? What minimal balance they are asking ?
