Audeze Maxwell's causing ear lain

Recently picked up a pair of Audeze Maxwells and love everything about them except comfort over long sessions. After a few hours, my ears start to hurt because they’re pressing against the inside of the ear cups.

I never had this issue with my old Astros, as the thicker pads kept my ears off the speakers and they weren't as hard. Has anyone got any advice on how I could fix this?
