Seeking advice on realistic entry-level roles, skills, and courses for jobs in Dubai
Hello everyone,
I’m an early-career professional actively exploring job opportunities in Dubai and would really appreciate some guidance from people who are already working here.
My background:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business
- Experience in community management, digital engagement, and growth support for startups
- Hands-on work with social platforms, basic analytics, content operations, and community building
- Exposure to AI tools and no-code platforms through learning projects
- Open to trainee / junior / entry-level roles and willing to learn on the job
I’m trying to be realistic and prepare properly rather than apply blindly, so I wanted to ask:
- Based on this kind of profile, which entry-level roles are most realistic in Dubai right now (corporate, operations, digital, customer experience, tech-adjacent, etc.)?
- Are there specific skills or short certifications that genuinely help fresh or junior candidates stand out in the Dubai job market?
- Would startups, agencies, or larger organizations be more open to trainee or junior profiles?
- Any advice on how to approach job searching in Dubai as a newcomer—what works and what to avoid?
I’m open to learning, internships, traineeships, and junior roles that offer growth and stability.
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share insights or advice.
