Proposal - resort recommendations

Hello all!

I am planning to propose to my girlfriend and I am currently exploring the different resort options available in Malaysia.

If you have any experience staying in any nice resorts in Malaysia, I would be grateful if you could share the name of the resorts, the price or your experience. I am looking to stay at least 2 nights at the resort.

I intend to drive and the idea is to have a road trip with her then leading up to the proposal (or it could be the other way round).

I’ve looked at Pangkor Laut Resort and have heard good things about it but that place is rather expensive for a night.
