My 1/2 pyr has decided we need to be protected from blowing snow. Might be a long noisy day.
For context: we live in the south and my guy Jackson is 9 months old. He has never seen snow. We have a dusting so far and it’s windy and blowing.
He noticed something was different right off and paused to investigate when I let him out. He cautiously looked around the yard. All was good until it started blowing.
He has now decided when it blows it equals threat. Full hackles up with growling and a full volume bark. He spots it blowing off trees or the garage out the windows and he’s off and barking again. I will just carry treats with me all day today and we will work on “stand down” practice I guess.
The things that they pick up on and perceive as threats…🤪
