Advice for dealing with justice sensitivity while online?
Hey ya'll, this might be overly specific idk. but it's been bothering me so I figured I would shoot my shot by asking for advice anyway.
I've been on a couple of social media sites, but Reddit is the one I keep coming back to because I don't have to worry about algorithms or tags for visibility, y'know?
But I guess the problem with that is that there ends up being quite a lot of people on here that end up being aggressive in a lot of ways, and I'll always end up seeing it. Again, because of the lack of algorithms. I just stumble across it when I'm browsing and it always stresses me out when I see it.
I can block people, but it doesn't make the feelings go away. I have the mindset of 'well I would never talk this way because it's awful, so why are these people doing it?' It doesn't feel fair, and I always end up getting overly emotional because of it because I guess I'm overly sensitive to that sort of thing?
And I always end up in a loop of deleting my account, then remembering that I don't have any friends on other platforms to talk to, and then I come back, and then I get stressed again. It's a cycle.
Does anyone have any advice for dealing with these sort of feelings around fairness while online? Thank you :)
