Huawei Watch GT6 Pro or Garmin Instinct Crossover AMOLED?

Hi,

I'm torn between these two smartwatches so I'd like some help picking one up.

For context, I'm not really into smartwatches, I like regular watches better. I do need to track my sport activities though, which include cycling, swimming, and tennis. I considered getting the Helio Strap but I think I'd need a screen during those activities.

Sleep tracking isn't my priority, notifications and many smart features either. I might use them at some point but I see them more as a bonus, the priorities being activity tracking, battery life, and aesthetics.

I like the fact that the Garmin had hands, which means that I'd keep the screen off most of the time. It'll be only on when I'm working out. The Huawei has a better battery life overall but in my particular use case, with the screen turned off most of the time, the Garmin wins.

The Garmin costs almost twice as much so I'd like to make sure it's the right choice for me. I can see that it has previous generation tracking hardware so I'd like to know which one offers the better tracking and if the price difference is justified. In any case, I'm definitely not paying full price for the Garmin so I'd wait for it to go on sale.

Thanks
