Things you are most and least looking forward to with the big switch.

Most looking forward to:

• Being able to only swap trains only once without going through the entire city loop if I go down the Frankston line and am coming back home (I live on the Mernda line).
• Having a choice between Frankston, East Pakenham and Cranbourne lines if I have to work at Malvern (although in practicality I'll always pick Frankston to save myself walking to Town Hall).

Least looking forward to:

• No longer being able to get a quick trainride from Caulfield to Parliament if I'm working out that way and coming back home.
• I'm also hoping that I'll never have to work on the Sunbury line when the Mernda line is down and I have to use Upfield instead since I can't simply just change at North Melbourne anymore (a good station to swap trains at).
• The fact that Belgrave and Lilydale line still have super shit frequency if I get sent east of Ringwood again.
