Career Advice
Completed my BTech CSE from a tier3 university, ln the last sem joined sales because didn't know coding and no practical knowledge, was good at theory and communication was good. So to give it a shot I go for it, at the time I thought that I am still in my last sem so if I don't like it I will leave. Got stuck for 1 year, did nothing just work and work with no certifications or upskilling. Now I have switched to another job again in sales but now thinking to do some certications in BA business analytics and entering in that field. My long term is to do MBA and will prepare for the exam this year to get a good IIM or any tier1 and I need time for that that I am not getting in this sales role.
Consulted my sibling who is working in corporate only with good workex and profile and handsome earning, the only thing he said that you need to know yourself what you like or has interest in then only you can go to any field otherwise it will be same experience everywhere.
Really don't know what is my field or I like but at the same time can't just do hit and trial with my career. Should I consult a professional career consultant?
In short:- I'm 21rn with 1 year experience in sales with tech degree what to do next.(Got a lot that I am still young but like this I will not be getting anywhere)
Any advise will be helpful and any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks for reading all this.
