Signing 3 years of my life away

My severance package pretty much was signing the next three years of my life away in fear of the organizing doing something if I do anything out of the terms and conditions. Unable to do it… so I declined. Spoke with my consultant before declining she said (I’m using different wording) the company has been shady the entire time I’ve worked there and the severance offer was beyond anything she’s ever heard a non profit doing.
