Is getting coaching badges bugged in FM26?

Hey there -

I'm just starting my 4th season in Auda in Latvia, this is the start and first step of what I'm hoping is a fun European Journeyman save starting with no badges and no playing experience.

I've won the Latvian league in years 2 and 3, and in both of those years as well, have made the knockouts of the Conference league. Pretty easily cemented as the best Latvian side over Riga and RFS.

The weird thing is, my board just will not grant me any coaching courses. They don't even let me negotiate or beg in the board meeting, just tell me no and don't waste our time. I've made this club MILLIONS and they can't fork out like a couple thousand for me to get some badges?

What makes me think it might be bugged is they've been paying for my coaching staff to get courses, but not me. I've started to get interviews at other clubs, bottom of the top league clubs in Denmark and Belgium. I've been asking them to give me a coaching course in the interview, and they instantly refuse any badges as well.

I'm curious if anyone has run into this issue and if they found a fix. I know its completely unrealistic to even get a job with no badges or experience so maybe I broke the games brain.

• Would you say my save is bugged and maybe needing remade?
• Is this something I could fix in the in game editor and just give myself the badge for an appropriate level?
