Not needing advice. Just want to share.

First date last night. He picks the bar, great conversation and we hit it off. He’s an older guy, very handsome. He pays for all the drinks. He even brings me a gift - some chocolates I said I liked earlier in the week. He insisted on gifting me a lift home - had a great laugh on the way. He popped in for a coffee and nothing happened, just a kiss good night. Said he’d like to see me again and to let him know when I was free.

This morning - low energy off his texts. Assume he’s probably just tired as was a late night. Give him a couple of dates next week. To catch up - he confirms one but asks if we can meet later (after I’ve said I’m more an early drinks / dinner person)…

Then I ask if he wants to do drinks or dinner and he says ‘just drinks… unless you want to cook?’

WTF 😂😂😂😂 usually they can keep the gentleman act up for a little while longer than just one date before they turn into total douche bags.

He said it was a genuine suggestion. I’m actually blown away. When I said it wasn’t very gentlemanly to suggest inviting yourself round for a second date and have me cook he goes ‘well let’s just leave it then’

Mind blown. Any thoughts?
