You don’t always have to climb up or across, sometimes the best answer is to go over then rappel down.

I had not considered this until I was trying to collect a doll piece. It was raining constantly and maybe I was just too tired and therefore impatient, but I had the idea that instead of taking this hard route to climb directly towards the doll, I take an easier but slower route, then rappel down.

I’ve used it a few times now for some tricky spots and it is changing how I play the game entirely.
