Been scammed need guidance

Good morning,

I was involved in a scam related to renovations on my home/business . While I was deployed, the contractors I hired did extremely poor work/didn’t finish , and I now have to redo the renovations with a different contractor.

I own an LLC, and my place of business is registered at my home address. I’m trying to find out whether there are any grants available for disabled veteran business owners that could help cover the cost of repairing my home/business and help offset these expenses.

Without the home being properly fixed, I cannot start my business. I am completely maxed out on credit cards and loans, and honestly, I don’t know what to do at this point.

I’m approximately $80,000 in debt because of this situation. I fully intend to pursue legal action against the contractors, but I don’t have the time or financial flexibility to wait through lengthy litigation.

What hurts the most is that I was deployed to Syria, and they took advantage of my absence. It’s hard not to feel like they deliberately exploited my situation.

Thanks in advance .
