SUNLU Black PETG – small bumps / pockmarks on walls even after long drying
Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing this small bump / pockmark texture on my prints, and now I’m already on my second spool of SUNLU black PETG with the same issue.
What could be causing this?
What I already tried:
- Dried the filament 16 hours at 64 °C, then printed directly from a dry box at ~10% humidity
- The first spool was dried 24 hours total, same result
- Flow calibration done
- Seam position: back
- Speeds are attached as images
Printer & settings:
- Printer: Bambu Lab A1
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm stainless steel
- Nozzle temp:
- Initial layer: 245 °C
- Other layers: 240 °C
- Volumetric speed: 8 mm³/s
The bumps appear randomly on the walls and also on top surfaces, so it doesn’t look like a seam issue.
Has anyone seen this with SUNLU PETG before?
Could this still be moisture-related, temperature-related, or something else (flow, pressure, nozzle, etc.)?
Thanks in advance 🙂
