HDFC Savings Account

I am looking to open a new HDFC Regular Savings Bank Account.

What is the minimum balance required to be maintained in this account in METRO city ?

Is it 25,000 Rs or 10,000 Rs ?

I visited the nearest HDFC branch ; staff said 25,000 Rs but hdfc bank website shows it is 10,000 Rs.

This is very confusing.

Is there anyone opened Savings Account in HDFC Bank in last 3/4 months ? What minimal balance they are asking ?

I just wanted to cross check ; is the staff misinformed me or their website is showing wrong information.
