Green light is a brilliant episode

I just finished watching Green Light yesterday. On Wikipedia, I read that the episode is one of the lowest rated episodes in the entire series. I don't get it. I thought it was brilliant, and absolutely true to life.

My college girlfriend broke up with me in almost the same way as Skyler did. We were trying to break up with each other for about a year, but something was holding us back. Perhaps it was me; she was way out of my league, and I was desperate for the relationship to continue. It didn't help that we were in separate countries for a year after college. Finally, she slept with a guy in her lab, and told me about it the very same day. I think she just wanted to do something that would be difficult to come back from (of course I think she also liked the guy).

I somehow made some gracious "it's good that we're finally broken up, take care of yourself", but I was totally broken up inside. On the very same day, I asked a girl out that I kind of liked (much like Walt was coming on to the school principal). She turned me down, and I was even more dejected.

Funnily, I also had a "confrontation" with the guy my ex slept with. Because we were in different countries, I sent him an email. I would have of course confronted him in person if he was close-by.

It felt unreal to see Walt go through almost exactly the things that I did. I think Green Light is a brilliant episode, and doesn't get the love it deserves.
