Is Savage Worlds for me, and what should I know?

Question

This is my post. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Yeah. Sorry, guys.

Anyways, long story short. I have some experience and have been GMing several RPGs, mostly rules-light (after getting massive burn with all the heavy lifters like PF2, Witcher, CP Red, etc.) I'm cool with figuring out new RPG rules and systems, making house-rules, rulings on the spot, and dealing with all this nightmare and social stress we call "hosting a game night".

Currently, my new group is asking me for some sort of adventure that falls between the lines of the Arcane series, Hunger Games, and Harry Potter-verse. Basically, fight the establishment, while attending balls, studying at the university, and being a cool kid that occasionally does start some mayhem around the neighborhood.

Two pitfalls are - the group consists of new players, and most of them are ladies. None of these is a bad thing, but all of that requires some shift from my typical "big evil dude of the week, that you need to kick in the nuts" plan to way more of social conflicts, feels, all and all making them understand and/or feel why the dude is kinda evil. And punching him in the duck afterwards anyhow.

It's been said that SWADE is a right thing for me, that will let me build this world of high castles and magitech, with societal tensions, occasional physical conflicts, and many more social conflicts, espionage even, and probably good old rivalry. I'm yet to make up my mind about this recommendation, but what would you say, good people of the Internet?

Is it a right pick for me, or will it watch me drown slowly after chopping me legs off?

What should I know before trying my best to make my players enjoy that dinner at some fancy lord's mansion, with them showing off their best dresses and etiquette while trying to pull all the information and agenda out of him?

All and all, is it possible to tame SWADE, or it's all about FUN! ACTION! GUNS! BLADES! YIPPEE-KI-YAY!
