After Philly, What's Next For Unrivaled?

Vibes & Views

Obviously yesterday's Unrivaled stop in Philadelphia was a hit as 21,490 (myself included) attended, a record for a professional women's basketball game. It's obviously a huge step in growing Unrivaled. What should be the next step? There is clearly demand outside of Miami for Unrivaled and women's basketball in the winter and if you were there you know it was cold and it didn't stop the excitement. On the other hand, one of the attractions of the league was a set home where most of the games were played. I'm not sure if the league would be as attractive to players if it became a "traveling" league or if each team were based in a city like the WNBA.

I think going to other cities would be great. I would love Unrivaled to come back to Philadelphia although other cities definitely deserve their shot too. Maybe next time they should play two days so that all eight teams get to play. I overheard at least one fan said their favorite team didn't come. The West Coast probably also deserves a shot but they'd probably have to play a whole week out there because it would be almost impossible to play in say Los Angeles and then back in Miami two days later. Maybe they do Los Angeles and San Diego in back to back pairs. Of course I am assuming they will remain at just eight teams, who said that had to be the case?

What other cities should Unrivaled go to? How about a larger arena for their "home base"?
