Have you frozen the goat cheese successfully?

I have two of the Kirkland goat cheese logs. Wondering if folks here have had experience freezing the goat cheese for use later-- based on past experiences w/other chevres I'd likely only use it for cooking, since the freezing introduces some graininess, but in better cheeses doesn't ruin the flavor. Thanks.
