The Devil, Lord of all modern-day vampires…

Two of the most vile and cruel mortals to ever exist were allowed to drink his black blood: Vlad the Impaler and Elizabeth the Torturer of Maidens. They forged two of the oldest and strongest vampire kingdoms., spread from Romania and Hungary, and formed a clandestine order (the Illuminati) that operates to this day on behalf of the fallen.
