I've decided valentine's day is a maximum comfort holiday now
A small realization I had recently.
For a long time, valentine's day felt like it needed effort, plans, outfits, making it feel like a thing. Not bad, just.... a bit much. This year, I'm switching it up and keeping it very simple. No trying to impress. No uncomfortable clothes. Just leaning fully into comfort.
My extremely ambitious plan:
- Phone on DND for a while
- Soft clothes that feel like a hug
- A book, some tea, and zero rushing
Honestly, it already sounds kind of perfect. Does anyone else do something cozy or low-key on valentine's day, or do you just treat it like any other day?
