Does anyone have a lizard or snake that isn’t picky?
My friend and I both have hognose snakes, and mine has *always* been a picky eater, refusing any mouse that’s been frozen for more than a couple months (even vacuum sealed in the freezer).
Which means I have a few pinkies, and a handful of fuzzies that my year-old snake just will not eat- he gets mad if I even offer them to him.
My friends adult hognose is pulling a similar stunt atm and they’re going to try some “fresher” (still f/t) food from the reptile expo this weekend. So they will have their older (but still perfectly good) mice/rats just going to waste if the snake doesn’t change its mind.
So if you are near Manchester and could use some frozen mice of various sizes… we would love for them to go to use instead of the rodents going in the trash.
