What can I do outside of lessons with teacher to learn Portuguese?

Recently, I’ve been wanting to learn Portuguese and I found a teacher on Italki which I am doing one hour sessions a week with

But the teacher suggested me that I should be doing other stuff outside of my lessons and I was wondering what suggestions do you guys have? Of what I could be doing.

Also, if it is irrelevant in information, I am fluent in Spanish
