[Rant/vent] I really really wanted to raise a puppy

I am a 20 Yr old from Chennai, so basically I love raising any sort of animal previously I had fishes but now I dont, but one dream I have consistently had was to raise a dog

I know that its pretty childish to be 20 and still get upset cuz your mom to no to getting a dog, but I have been asking her since I was in 3rd grade and I understand why she told no back then but rn I fr dont know why she is refusing

We live in a pet friendly apartment, our house is 2bhk but its not too small or too big either.

Compared to back then my mom is more at home these days and so am I since I am in my clg currently so I dont see whats the issue as I will be taking care of it

Its not like I am a irresponsible girl, I manage my mom's small business and I clean and cook whenever she isn't feeling like it, and I never ever asked her to clean my stuff or my room, so I am pretty sure I can take care of a dog

But no matter what my mom never agrees to a dog, and she also loves dogs but she doesn't want one in our house

She keeps saying mw to get one after I get a job and move out, saying stuff like, I will take care of the dog when full time cuz I will be busy with my hypothetical job, but I dont want that, I dont want to not be able to raise and send time with the dog I wanted so bag instead my mom getting to do all that

Right now is so perfect, I go clg but I get to raise it too and when I move out it will be grown up enough to be left in the care of someone else to for a while without being too attached to them

I am really frustrated fr idk I feel like my one dream will never come true
