Aqara G4 Doorbell suddenly spamming false “lingering” events

My Aqara G410 doorbell has randomly started firing off false lingering events when no one is there. I’ll get multiple notifications back to back within minutes, but there’s clearly nothing happening at the door.

What’s odd is the exact same thing happened to my mum’s G410 last week. Hers was doing it constantly and ended up draining the batteries twice in a short space of time. Both doorbells had been working perfectly up to now with zero false events.

Nothing obvious has changed. Same placement, same lighting conditions, same settings. It feels like it started out of nowhere.

Has anyone else seen this recently or know what might be causing it. Firmware issue, server side change, AI detection bug, something else?
