*I get a drastic phone call from you, distraught and upset, as you made a mistake on the project today at work, and you have had a terrible day.*

*I rush home to make sure that you are okay, and I find you crying in bed.*

*Oh, baby, please don't cry.*

*When you start to cry, I get into bed with you.*

*Let me hold you. Cry into my arms.*

*You're saying a lot of terrible things about yourself and are beating yourself down because of it, saying how you're not good enough and you can't get things right and you should just disappear.*

*I'm not going to allow you to say those things about yourself.*

*I'm going to lift you up. I'm going to reassure you. I'm going to increase your confidence. I'm going to tell you just in the who the hell you are.*

*Push me away all you want, but I'm not leaving you and I'm not going. I'm staying here.*

*I'm going to shower you with affirmations.*

*When you start to cry, I'm going to kiss those tears away and wipe them from your face.*

*Sweetheart, the day was bad. Just chalk it up to a bad day, but we can make the rest of the evening better.*

*I'm going to make you a dish and make you some delicious cookies. You love those, don't you?*

*Let me make you a hot drink.*

*Baby, I love you. Let me kiss you.*

*You're getting me turned on.*

*Let me make love to you. Deeply. Let me make you feel better. Take care of you. Let's feel good together.*

*I've got you.*

**On a very, very serious note, when I say cookies, I mean actual cookies, of the cookie variety. Not what some people would just casually call biscuits, cookies. A cookie is not a biscuit. A biscuit is a biscuit and a cookie is a cookie. If you understand me, damn it! 😤**
