i struggle with dating and right now, i want to convince my ex to give me another chance.

my ex and i ended on amicable terms. she was going through a lot with family and dealing with a previous (abusive) ex, and she wanted me to be free to date others. but i guess she didn’t realize that she was the woman i always: she was my best friend who liked a lot of the same interests, and that meant a lot to me.

it’s been a year and i never found another date. on the same app, i met her. i burned $$$ boosting and trying to find someone that could have the same sort of relationship i did.

but no one wants me. only a couple matches where they ended ghosting me.

i lost a bunch of friends recently to external circumstances and i’ve been so lonely these past five months. my social skills have gotten worse. my drive and motivation has dampened. i just come home from work and go to sleep some nights.

what do i even do?
