McAfee or scam?

I got a McAfee subscription and a brand new PC yesterday. Now I've received an email that looks really strange in places. It says my data was found on the dark web. None of my email addresses are explicitly mentioned, and the subject line is "IdentitÃøtsÃ..." and so on, with strange characters that my keyboard doesn't even have. I never received any emails from McAfee before the subscription; only now that I have the membership. Can anyone tell me if I should be worried or if this is just a scam?
