Do you think as fans of a club we reap a bit of the seeds we sew?

Not specifically speaking as just Newcastle but all clubs, do you think that we as fans or at least a portion of them perhaps reap at least some of the seeds we sew?

For instance with the Isak saga Liverpool fans kicked up a fuss until they got their man and now perhaps they will discover what a toxic little rat he is?

Or perhaps Newcastle fans kicking off about Howe having wasted all the Isak money on two strikers neither of who’m have replaced Isak forget the fuss they made when he actually wanted to bring in DCL.

Who now is playing phenomenally well and in my mind has undoubtedly proven what a good free option he would have been for us, solving Wilson leaving, not leaving us in a position where we were then desperate to bring in 2 strikers.

Perhaps even Isak might have stayed then if we had done that early enough?

Instead many Newcastle fans proceeded to extol what a bad option DCL was going to be and how bad he would be for us, perhaps this negative outlook even influenced the powers that be making the decisions there.

The fans were insistent on other strikers costing far more even Ekitike when we were in for him again initially was being seen as a poor option because of his previous rejection and this perhaps also slowed the club’s decision on him down too.

Delap again…. A player a lot of fans wanted us to get instead of DCL went to Chelsea, has he done well there?

Perhaps as fans it’s better sometimes to just think it but not voice it.

I’m sure quite a few will now tell me I should have taken my own advice at the end there on voicing this too.

There are plenty of examples out there to be seen though and it’s this that’s perhaps breeding toxicity within football, when maybe just maybe we should just accept what will be will be, after all we have no real element of control in what goes on (some may say even when we voice our opinions) and instead we should perhaps just enjoy the ride more and what actually comes to next.

Point is blaming Howe for the summers goings on and current problems probably should be a case of looking at our own actions too.

Let’s just get behind Howe, the team and what they do on the pitch and not dwell on the past.

Maybe we can pull something special out the bag this season if we do.
