Why did Mankatha fell super bad in second week despite a huge opening comparable to Ghilli?

I believe it had opening equal or more than Ghilli. But it feel complete flat after Monday. Most theatres have either one or two shows in small screen except Rohini and kamala.And even those screens are mostly empty or single to double digit bookings.

I remember watching Ghilli even on 3rd weekend with housefull shows with full mixed crowds like family, young ppl etc..

Every non Vijay re release movie is not sustaining for more than first weekend. Even padayappa was similar.
