parking tips for don broco at the wiltern (los angeles 01/31)

hey everyone, figured i’d share some parking tips for the don broco show on 01/31 because parking in koreatown is honestly notorious for being a nightmare when the wiltern has a show

my number one tip is to check out an app like prked first. this is for renting someone's private driveway or garage right next to the venue, which is way cheaper than the event lots and lets you skip a ton of the circling traffic. it's always worth a peek.

for official spots, the most convenient option is the ralphs parking structure which is right next to the venue. you need to enter this one on oxford street via the north entrance, not through the main ralphs entrance. heads up, people report the event rate here is often around $30, so be prepared. the wiltern also offers its own premium underground parking, sometimes called wiltern underground, if you want to pay for a super close spot.

if the ralphs lot is full or too pricey, there are several other garages within a few minutes walk, like the wilshire park place garage (3700 wilshire blvd) or the 3699 wilshire blvd garage, which can be reserved on pre-booking apps for around $15 to $20. the aroma garage is another spot people often mention as a nearby option.

street parking is tough, but not impossible if you get there early. the show starts at 7:00 pm. there's a parking ban on western avenue that lifts at exactly 7:00 pm, so you might get lucky finding a spot right then, but be careful of the signs. otherwise, head east of western avenue, between 6th and 8th streets, and you might find some residential spots without permit restrictions. a guaranteed free option is to park near bronson/norton and 5th in hancock park and walk about 15 minutes- it’s a safer area and has more abundant parking.

honestly, your easiest move might be the metro purple line. the wilshire/western station is literally right across the street. since 01/31 is a wednesday, the metro runs until midnight on weekdays, which should be plenty of time to catch the train home after the show ends.

hope this helps a few people save some headache and cash! have fun at the show.
