Trials - in wildcard 1, trying to end the season in daredevil 1

I’m not much of a pve person but I really want the alpino cosmetic. After this week I’ll be in wild card 2, and I believe I’ll have 3 weeks left to get 2 more promotions to daredevil 1

I’m really just trying to end the season on daredevil 1

In your opinion, am I better off getting to wildcard 3, staying there for 1 week, and then the following week going for 1 promotion?

Or am I better off getting to daredevil 1 and trying to maintain that rank for 1 week?

I’m just trying to see which one would most likely be easier, as someone who doesn’t do much pve. I PvP a lot in duo and trios, so it’s a pain to have to try to reset my solo lobbies back to friendly just to do trials
