ATC management in long haul (Career Mode)

Hi everyone,

in Career Mode, how do you handle ATC communication on long haul flights?

Sometimes I can stay in front of the screen for four hours or more, other times I can’t, so I increase the simulation rate or step away for a while.

The problem is that if ATC requests a frequency change and I don’t acknowledge it (or don’t do it fast enough when using increased sim rate), I either get a penalty or my IFR flight plan gets cancelled altogether.

Is there any way to automatically accept frequency changes?

How do you usually deal with this?
