Question about yarn consumption of stitches
I've known for a while that crochet uses up more yarn than knitting generally, but has anyone done a comparison of a knit stockinette stitch vs a back loop only slip stitch or similar. To me they look practically identical aside from the obvious difference of what the order of stitches was (blo slip stich look like knit but rotated 90 degrees). is there an actual difference in drape or yarn consumption?
