If bipolarity exists does tripolarity also exist?

Or if u have 3 personalities does that still count as bipolarity? So I know that bipolar mood diorder means your mood is either very up (mania) or very down(depressive state) but can they have other tertiary state that not exactly feels like the other two but a complete seperate thing? I know i really gave the subname its name again w this question lol
