Cleaning non stained wooden toys / buying safe to chew crinkle paper

Two separate questions. I have a 6 month old who puts everything in their mouth.

1. How do I clean / sanitize just purchased non stained wooden toys that are hand painted. Such as: https://well.ca/products/plan-toys-flexi-jellyfish\_285787.html

I just don’t want the paint to come off etc… even rubbing the legs against each other the paint transfers etc

Will mixture of vinegar and water work or will that ruin the paint etc?

2. He loves crinkle paper at his grandmothers house but they are all polyester would this be very bad for him to chew then? Any other recommendations?
