rank reset question

i js dont rlly understand the rank reset

so i dropped a rank when the rank reset hit but i was alr pretty low elo so im slowly climbing my way back but ik a lot of ppl in gold and plat dropped to my rank too and the climb is pretty slow bc everyone else has peaked gold or plat and im not rlly on their level (i peaked silver 3).

so how long does it take to climb back to my original rank when all the higher ranks r in my games too instead of the silver levelled players i had before? when will everyone get to their original rank and everything will be normal?
