The possibilities of this trade deadline are getting to me

The title of the post is a little more dramatic than how I actually feel. Obviously, it's a very heavy trade deadline year for us since we beat everyone's expectations for how the team will play this season. Are we a perfect team? No. Are we a surprisingly good team? Yes! (Barring the recent losses to the Knicks and the Magic, with all due respect).

It's currently Saturday morning. I'm getting ready to walk my dog and I can't help but remember a dream I had last night and a dream the night before about trades for the Raptors. I'll break it down here (mind you, these are faceless trades from my subconscious and are not meant to be taken seriously as possible or potential trades):

Dream 1:

Raptors:

RJ

I think Poeltl was also in the trade

OKC:

J-Dub

Not sure if they gave us a center in return

In that dream, the trade was finalized and J-Dub was actually a Raptors player.

Dream 2:

No official trade was made, but we were in talks with the Kings and the Knicks.

With the Knicks, I'm not sure who we were trading exactly OR who we were getting in return.

With the Kings, we were discussing and the general direction was the Raptors receiving Sabonis and DeRozan. I know a lot of people want Keon Ellis in a trade with Sabonis but of course we can't control what Bobby and the front office will do. And obviously DeMar isn't really the right fit for the team right now.

Anyways, those have been my dreams lately and I've never experienced Raptors related dreams. I guess it shows how much I'm thinking about the team and all the possible trade scenarios with the deadline looming.

What do you guys think would be best for the Raptors to do? Any specific teams? Any specific players? No trades at all? Set me up for a new dream tonight.
