My juniors are scared of me

As stated in my title…my juniors are scared of me 😭😭

For context: I am sec 4 and a CCA leader. I have NEVER scolded the CCA before or gotten into conflict with my juniors. By scared it’s kinda like when you don’t dare to speak to your senior kind.

I got told by a friend that pretty much all of my juniors (all levels) are scared of me and think I’m intimidating… And it’s also quite obvious through the way there’s kinda a distance between me and them yk.

I’m glad my juniors don’t cause trouble for the CCA and listen to me but I really don’t need them to fear me 😔

It might be because I speak rather fast and with a loud voice?? I’ve been told I seem super confident even though I’m like shivering in my timbers so maybe that’s what intimidates them 🥲 But I’ve also tried to change the way I give suggestions and compliment my juniors (regarding their performance in CCA) and all and they’re still scared

Wise mages of SGExams, pls give me some advice or criticism or smth bc I also want to be closer to my juniors! I also don’t want them to feel uncomfortable around me 😭
