PSA: Street parking and smashed mirrors

Heads up to make some considerations for street parking with the snowbanks, I parked along Barrington and came back about 15 minutes later to see several cars along that stretch with smashed driver side mirrors.

Luckily my car was unscathed. I made a conscious effort to nestle it in on the snowbank more and fold the driver side mirrors.

Unfortunately the cars with smashed mirrors did neither.

The situation will likely be worse after this weekend’s snowfall.
